Since 2019, the Frontrunners Lexington Pride Run 5K has brought Central Kentucky together for a standard-setting race that athletes, spectators, and sponsors love. (And dogs!)
Our Pride Run was the first race in Kentucky to establish a non-binary category, and we have raised thousands of dollars for LGBTQ youth in and around Lexington. Learn more about our charitable giving programs here.

The Pride Run raises money for LGBTQ+ charities and scholarships across Kentucky. Since Frontrunners earned our 501c3 non-profit status in 2022, we have given out over $30,000 to the great groups doing the work to create welcoming environments for LGBTQ+ youth and adults alike. We have funded Pride Festivals across the state, LGBTQ+ theater troupes, LGBTQ+ summer camps for kids, and our annual Leadership Scholarship for graduating LGBTQ+ seniors continuing on with their post-secondary education.
This year we have launched Team Frontrunners for our participants who want their run to go further.
